After completing the fiction book, The Dollhouse Murders by Betty Ren Wright in 4th grade Reader's Workshop, the students applied their knowledge of the mystery genre in an engaging project. First, using templates of the Clue game board, playing cards and playing pieces, the students created their own Clue game based on the text. Once this was complete, the students were given a Mystery Map of various activities related to the mystery genre. They were required to complete three activities before playing each other's Dollhouse Murders Clue Game. The students thoroughly enjoyed this project and demonstrated how much they learned from our mystery unit!
