Words Their Way Assessment

To promote reading development among early literacy learners, Words Their Way was a program I implemented in my kindergarten class.  Each week the students would practice different letter sounds and eventually letter patterns, using a picture sort to reinforce these letter sounds.  Here is an example of one student's final assessment for same vowel word families.
