With technology becoming ever more common in the classroom, it is crucial to have positive tech experiences to facilitate students in using these resources positively and effectively.  



Using technology, my students...
  • have become proficient with technology through 1:1 iPad and Chromebook programs
  • prepare Google Slides presentation on achievements for Student Led Conferences
  • Review and recommend various fiction and nonfiction texts read, while providing synopsis of text
  • demonstrate learning through interactive quizzes with Kahoot, Quizlet, Plickers, etc. 
  • create screencasts to teach how to solve multiplication and division problems
  • write and edit writing assignments, and are able to return to original text and make adjustments/modifications
  • peer edit writing assignments, showing suggestions for peers in Google Docs- Suggesting mode
  • Publish personalized writing pieces to gift to family members
  • collaborate with peers to create Google Slides of given research topic
  • create graphs and charts to represent information 
  • publish short stories and poems via Storybird
  • film short clips and videos demonstrating comprehension of assigned topic
  • design model of "invention" to print via 3D printer
  • research various topics and cited online sources 
  • submit and return assignments via Google Classroom
  • share thoughts and opinions of texts/assignments/topics via Google Classroom comments
  • reinforce mathematical concepts with practice questions and apps (ex. Front Row Math, Reflex Math, IXL Math, FASTT Math, etc.)
  • reinforce spelling, punctuation and grammar with assigned apps (ex. Quill.org, Typing Club, Google, etc.)
  • develop coding skills with Lightbot app
  • view videos and read interactive texts to further comprehension
